NEWS:

06-22-08:  Just got done with the air show pics....or at least some of them. Saturday was the first time I've filled up the 4 GB CF card. 572 pics total. I'm still filtering through them, but I think I've chosen which ones I want to use. They didn't turn out too bad, but I had some issues with the lens. The AF decided it didn't want to work all day, so I was constantly having to find that hot spot by manual focusing. That was a pain. With the combination of that and quite a few Coors, things were a tad tricky. For a $1,500 lens, I would have thought the pics would have turned out much better than this. I just hope it isn't having any problems. Here are a few for now. It'll more than likely be quite a while before I get the page up.

What I really wanted was a shot of one of the Blue Angels with water vapor coming off its wings, but no dice. This was the best I could do with the F-16.

06-20-08:  Added the lightning entry HERE. I had to do this now so I could start on the air show pics. I'll be there tomorrow and I cannot wait to see what that 100-400L will do.
