The moon is still trying
to peek over the clouds.

Found a spot off of Moline Rd. heading into Erie for these shots.

I hopped across the road to take a few more, but the way the moon was hitting the lens
wasn't the greatest as it produced some major lens flares. Around that time, I heard a train
blowing it's whistle and chugging at me at a pretty good pace. I thought "man, how cool would that
be to get its engine lights right was it was coming across the gate." Well, I ran back to my position right
by the tracks and set up the tripod as quick as I could. I FORGOT that I had set the shutter speed for
15 seconds instead of leaving it on bulb exposure which would have given me the picture I wanted.
Instead, I clicked the shutter off and nothing happened, so I thought the battery had died. I picked
up the tripod and started heading back to my truck when it finally took the picture. So, I DID get the
lights of the train going by, but the streak at the bottom is not supposed to be there. I really, really wanted
just the engine coming across the frame though. Oh well, next time!

After I screwed up the shot I had really wanted,
I decided to take one last long exposure of the train
passing until it was gone. This wasn't my best long
exposure outing, but it still wasn't bad.
