Furious Skies

Once again, I shot in full auto and it created a TON of noise (auto had the ISO set at 1600!!). But, anyway, this was still a learning process. Many of these could use a crop too, but I'll probably go back later on and do so.

I got too close for this bird's comfort. This shot was at a full 300mm.

This picture could DEFINITELY use a good crop. I actually got pretty close to this bird as it was sitting in a tree. But, as usual, I spooked him and he flew out to a sunken tree out in the frozen Mississippi

This is the same bird. The entire time I had my camera pointed at him, he would not turn his head to look at me.

This picture I originally had cropped, but for some reason it got lost. This was my most liked pic of the day.

This guy actually cooperated me for quite a while until I pretty much got right up on his tree. He was perched out on this limb looking for fish the entire time I was there.
