The sunset was pretty cool looking after
the clouds had passed through.

The billowing cumulus to the north
were rapidly falling away as the
sun neared the horizon.

Backed up to 28mm, this was taken on a
back road in Barstow, IL

Remnants of a weak midwestern storm

The sun continues to fall, killing
off convection.

There was still a little bit of action up to
the northeast, but the lightning flashes became
more and more infrequent as time went on.
