Les Shockley's "Shockwave". This was ONE IMPRESSIVE machine!

Today was a great day. My buddy Steve McCord had asked me a couple weeks prior if I wanted to go to the Air Show since he
had a free ticket. I hadn't been to one for quite some time, so I quickly agreed. The ticket included COPIUS amounts of free Coors Light
and free food. The only thing that was not good about this day was the absence of a hat on my head. There were many blisters on my scalp
before this one was over. This wasn't TOO long ago, but long enough for me to forget what half of the planes/machines were named.

Parachuters dropping from
a military chopper. One parachute
ended up all the way across the highway
and had to be chased down by rescue personnell.

pretty awesome freefall manuever

Les Shockley's SHOCKWAVE.
This truck was one impressive machine.

Fast trigger finger I suppose.

Zoomed in shot. This was actually
pretty hard to capture considering
this beast was FLYING.

Gearing up for his race against
the Bulldog bi-plane. The
bi-plane barely squeaked out a win.

F-15

This plane was pretty neat too. This is the
Fat Albert (a.k.a. Hercules) C-130T

Another zoomed in shot
of Fat Albert.

Thought this was a pretty neat shot.

The Blue Angels in their
infamous "Diamond" formation

Taking a wide turn, still in perfect
"Triangle" formation.

#5 and #6 side by side. I can't remember
the name of this manuever, but they were
all pretty neat.

FA-18 Blue Angels shortly
after takeoff

I snapped this shot as #4 made a
sudden sharp turn right before
the audience out over the runway.

All of these next pictures are also the Blue Angels. They closed out the show with some pretty awesome stunts.
