This was looking north up the river with
my truck. It was VERY hard to keep the camera steady
as the wind was whipping from left to right. The only thing I could do
was set the shutter speed higher.
They ended up coming out GREAT. I was very, very happy with the results.
These are actually
some of the cleanest pictures I have as far as noise goes.
I love this shot. The orange sky is very smooth
and blends well with the treeline. It also shows
how windy it really was with the tree bending left to right.
This is panned just a tad right and standing closer
to the tree. Boaters were racing in from all
directions. The waves were actually pretty choppy out there.
This shot looked great after I cropped it. You can
see the southern edge of the northern
storm way off to the right above the treeline.
Easily my favorite of them all.
I got in my truck and drove a little further upstream
and took these next two.
