This was actually a 30 second
exposure. No way did I think my cat
would participate that long, but she did.
She had her eye on something across
the yard and only moved a little bit
at the last second to blur her head a bit.

After walking down to the docks,
I thought it would be cool to get some
night shots of the river and LeClaire.

This is looking south down
the Mississippi

On highway 88, looking south.
I probably kept the shutter open a
little too long as the lights became pretty
thick. One or two cars would have
been much better.

Now looking north on 88. There
were a few cars which passed, but
the lights on the ATM and the bank
clock were way too bright.

This was a nearby tree I happened
to notice when looking up. The stars
were pretty neat looking tonight so I
attempted it. This was my first ever attempt
at shooting stars also.

Down at the Port Byron boat docks overlooking LeClaire. The sun was just starting to go down and it cast a
nice hue in the sky

Looking south again on the Mississippi at the river bend.

I wonder what these cars were thinking with the tripod sitting halfway out on the road. The white streak you see
is headlights of a passing car. This was in front of my house up the road a bit.

I love this shot. This is looking down Cherry St. at the highway. I'm guessing the white steak above the house
on the left side is a satellite.

I liked this one because the tree almost looks fake. There was no editing in this shot whatsoever.

I saw this semi coming from a little bit down the road and tried to get the camera ready as fast
as I could. The shutter release was finally triggered right about where you see the light streaks start.

At some point in the night I had an out-of-body experience. Can you see my ghost?
