Now, before I begin, let me reiterate that I am a CUBS fan above and beyond any other team. But, I am also a BASEBALL
fan as well. I am a fan of the game, so given the opportunity to go to an MLB game, you can count me in. Dave and Mike
are the die-hards and they have been their whole lives. This was a great trip.

Shortly after arrival. Dave and Mike
scoping out downtown St. Louis from
our room in The Millenium. I can't recall
which floor we were on exactly, but it
was near the top.

After having a few drinks in our room,
we set out on foot to Busch Stadium
which was only a block away.

Looking back at our hotel
backdropped by the Arch.

Once inside the stadium, I got
a little trigger happy with the camera
again. This would be Toma Ohka
warming up.

Down the left field line for
batting practice.

Zoomed in shot of the scoreboard.

One more shot from the
left field line.

Instead of narrating the rest of the pics, I'll just give a short summary and post them all.

After walking around a bit and drinking copius amounts of beer, we walked around some more and drank even more beer.
Albert Pujols hit his 48th homer of the year, and I missed it by ONE SWING thanks to some 12 year old girl that worked there.
I got in the opening within perfect range of Pujols, got my camera settings set, and then she told me I had to move. The very next
pitch he hit a moon shot to left center field. I wasn't very happy. Oh well, I still had plenty of shots. I met these two girls in the beer
line and one of them kept wanting me to take her picture for some reason (the blond). We actually sat in their seats down the right field
line since they were pretty good. After the Cardinals 10-5 victory, we set off to town and hit all the cool bars downtown. It was a great time.

The blond was a little cutie!
